How Easy Is It To Do a Podcast?
At the foot of this page is a podcast I made simply by repurposing a blog post that I’d written.
How did you do that, David?
Simple. I recorded the words as I read them from the screen.
Then I added a bit of music as an introduction (but there’s no need to have any music on your podcast).
But I won’t go into that detail right now – there’s a great explanation, here.
Here’s what the podcast is about – and it’s what I try to do in WithingtonMedia…
Can You Simplify The Complex?
Let me ask you…
How would you explain modern technology to someone from 1978?
Well, that’s the dilemma some people found themselves in when Keith awoke from a 40-year coma…
When everything we take for granted today was like science fiction to him.
How do you explain a smartphone? Or a microwave-oven?

Of course, it’s a fictional story. But I hope it conveys the importance of simplifying the complex.
By the way… if you prefer to read it, here’s the original blog post on my personal website: The Man Who Awoke in the Future.
Wrong Voice For a Podcast?
Please forgive the strong dialect and the very un-BBC voice.
You see…that’s not what it’s about. It’s to show you that if I can record my voice for a podcast, so can you.
Enjoy!
